Home > Air Duct Cleaning

Indoor air quality is determined by dirty air ducts. The dirtier the ducts, the poorer the quality. And during a disaster a structure's ducts become even more compromised—the velocity behind smoke forces it into every crevice. In addition, soot, mold, water, dirt and debris can build up, causing long-term health and cleanliness problems.

Rockefeller's Cleaning & Restoration Company cleans all HVAC systems using specially designed source removal mechanical cleaning methods: vacuum units, mechanical and hand brushes, pressurized air sources, pressurized water sources and other tools. All are employed to dislodge attached particulate and debris, and to convey them to a collection device in a controlled manner—without cross-contamination. A video Duct-Cam Inspection is also available.

For maximum efficiency, air ducts should be inspected every two years, and cleaned, on average, every 5-7 years. Of course, this will vary with the conditions in your home or business. Our HEPA-Air units are designed for use on both large commercial and small residential houses.

Why Choose a NADCA Certified Company?

Each NADCA certified company works in accordance with NADCA's Code of Ethics—maintaining a high level of ethical behavior and professional performance.

NADCA continuously develops and researches the HVAC hygiene industry, establishing industry-wide standards. NADCA certified companies must adhere to those standards, thus staying abreast of new equipment, technology and the most cutting-edge cleaning procedures.

Each and every NADCA certified company has at least one Air System Cleaning Specialist on staff. ASCS designees have to pass a rigorous exam and earn 12 Continuing Education Credits over two years.

NADCA Certified Companies only apply source removal methods. These companies do not perform, suggest, or recommend "encapsulation" as a HVAC cleaning method.

Research by the United States Environmental Protection Service has demonstrated that HVAC system cleaning may allow systems to run more efficiently by removing debris from sensitive mechanical components. Clean, efficient systems are less likely to break down, have a longer life span, improve the air quality in your home or business and generally operate more effectively than dirty systems—reducing your energy bills.
